Junior Software Developer (Contract)

This is a contract Junior Software Developer role focused on modernizing internal toolchains to be OS-agnostic across Linux, Windows (WSL2), and high-performance environments. You will work on Python and C++ tooling, CI/CD automation, and developer experience improvements that directly support engineering teams building semiconductor products.

• Write, maintain, and optimize backend code and CLIs using Python and C++
• Refactor legacy scripts for cross-platform compatibility (Linux and Windows/WSL2)
• Work with data serialization formats (JSON, XML, YAML) for tool interoperability
• Write automated validation scripts and linters for Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Improve tool usability with clear error messages and fix hints
• Write unit tests and assist with automated stress testing

• Strong foundational skills in Python and/or C++
• Comfortable in Linux and Windows command-line environments
• Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts
• Basic knowledge of YAML, JSON, and configuration files
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
• Preferred: Familiarity with WSL, bash scripting, or EDA/hardware simulation tools

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Recent graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience
• Contract role under 3rd-party payroll partner
