AI Agent Engineer Intern

Lexsi Labs (associated with AryaXAI) is a frontier AI lab focused on building aligned, interpretable, and safe AI systems for real-world deployment. Their work spans agentic AI, alignment, interpretability, evaluation systems, enterprise AI, and foundational model research, with a fast-moving, research-driven culture that emphasizes transparency and ownership.

This is a part-time remote AI Agent Engineer Internship focused on high-impact agentic AI problems across applied, research, and product directions. Interns will work on real agentic systems, evaluation infrastructure, enterprise use cases, research prototypes, and product tooling rather than small internal bots.

• Explore open-ended agentic AI problems and convert ideas into working prototypes, experiments, or product capabilities
• Build applied agents for enterprise workflows, tool use, multi-step processes, and decision support
• Design evaluation frameworks, agent harnesses, and study failure modes or long-horizon reasoning
• Contribute to research insights, benchmarks, technical reports, or internal tools
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams on alignment and interpretability work

• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI systems
• Strong interest in agents, evaluation, alignment, interpretability, or enterprise AI
• Ability to work on ambiguous problems and build prototypes quickly
• Comfort reading papers/technical material and documenting findings
• Bonus: experience with agent frameworks, evaluation pipelines, backend systems, or AI safety

• B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech
• Batches 2025 / 2026 / 2027 preferred
• Strong interest and foundational skills in AI/LLMs/agents
